Berejiklian: Police believe compliance is improving across NSW

Premier Gladys Berejiklian says police believe compliance with the public health orders has been improving throughout New South Wales.
Ms Berejiklian said the abolition of the curfew in the LGAs of concern has assisted in reducing police activity in those areas.
“The best advice I have received in recent times from the police minister and also from the police commissioner is that police activity will be present but obviously only where needed,” she said.
“And obviously, the abolition of the curfew also assisted in reducing police activity, as well as obviously the high rates of vaccination and evidence now being able to be provided if people are vaccinated or not.”
