The Taliban Kill 4 Individuals Involved in Kidnapping | EWTN News Nightly

Over the weekend, the Taliban killed four individuals who had allegedly been taking part in a kidnapping. The Taliban put three of the bodies in different areas of the city to deter other criminals. Taliban officials hung one of the bodies from a crane in the central square. Former member of Congress and director of the American Center for Political Leadership at Southeastern University, Representative Dennis Ross, explains whether we should have expected this, even though the Taliban claimed they would rule in a kinder way. An anonymous state department official said today the United States knows of approximately 100 American citizens and legal permanent residents in Afghanistan and is working to get them out. Representative Ross shares his thoughts on why they haven't been removed so far and also whether the numbers have been accurate. On another note, this is an important week for President Joe Biden and his two infrastructure bills. Representative Ross discusses how he sees this playing out. And Facebook is facing backlash after announcing its plans to create a kid friendly instagram app. Those who oppose the app site mental health issues and possible online predators as reasons it should not be created. Representative Ross tells us his thoughts on that.
