Govt spares citizens another petrol bomb, rejects summary to increase price by Rs11.53
Prime Minister Imran Khan rejects summary seeking an increase in the applicable petrol prices from November 1.
OGRA had suggested that petrol prices be increased by Rs11.53 per litre for the next 15 days, while the rates of diesel were suggested to be increased by Rs8.49.
Statement says price increase was turned down "in the national interest" and to "provide relief to the masses".
