My hair wash routine is an inexpensive, quick and easy routine that can be done anytime, whether during a work day, an evening in preparation for the next day, or a weekend.

This is the first video of two videos that covers the entire process, and it's been broken down to avoid lengthy watch hours.

All you'll need to condition the hair just before washing are two basic ingredients namely:

i. Avacado =1 ripe or overripe pear
ii. Shea butter = 50gram, softened

You start with mashing your avacado, as I did; do not mind the bits and pieces as they'll all be washed out; or you can choose to blend them instead for a more smoother paste.

Next add the softened Shea butter and stir everything until thoroughly mixed. Part your hair into sections and apply mix, massaging into scalp thoroughly.

Cover with a silk scarf and leave for anywhere between one hour and overnight. And then wash out.

And because Shea butter is a heavy oil, applying that much into your hair without thoroughly washing it out that leave buildups that will serve as breeding ground for dandruff and other hair infections; so stay tuned for when I introduce my wash out routine and how I am able to grow such healthy hair in 3 years.

Please note: It is what works for me, coupled with consistency and not fixating on my length growth that I am sharing with you.

Nkechi stop measuring your hair with ruler every morning, it will not grow like that 😏🙄. Inexpensive Hair Wash Routine for my three years old locs
