Can You Write a Story with EXACTLY 50 Words?

A great way to improve your writing is to write minisagas--or 50 word stories. When you only have 50 words to write, you must be precise with words. Your writing needs to be tight. Every word matters. If a word does not add to the story, omit it.
Here is an example of a creative and well-written 50-word story.
I had longed to get rid of him for weeks. Finally, I had the chance. I climbed the stairs, cautiously entered the room – and saw him grinning in the mirror. The door slammed. A cry of agony, and it was over. Wreathed in blood, my tooth dangled on the string.
Now it is your turn to write a 50-word story. Whether or not your story is real is up to you. Just be sure your story is creative and well-written. And be sure every word counts. Good luck.
