Man Steals Taser, Attempts to Use It On Texas Police Officer While In Jail

The Aransas Pass Police Department in Texas released bodycam and surveillance footage showing the arrest of a man, Jesse Rose, who later stole an officer's taser in an attempt to use it on her on August 28, 2018. Rose was later convicted on two felony charges related to this incident and is currently serving time in a Texas prison. Rose's projected release date is August 28, 2023.
